We’ve been very blessed to receive overwhelming requests for us to feature some very incredible products on our cute little blog. Here are some guidelines and information for anyone who is interested in having us help them promote their product or service, including, but not limited to reviews, giveaways, and press releases.
Please keep in mind that our blog is not intended to be a “Giveaway” blog. We pride ourselves in providing our fans and readers with interesting and frequent non-review and non-giveaway articles. With this said, we believe that invoking loyal readership can prove to be beneficial to companies wishing to partner with us for any reason.
Guidelines for All Inquiries
- The product or service must be related to cloth diapering, babywearing, breastfeeding, or natural parenting. Eco-friendly household products are also welcomed. If your product doesn’t seem to fit this description, we’ll at least be happy to consider it.
- Christina, the owner of WhyClothDiaper.com, and any propositioned writers, reserve the right to accept or refuse any offer for a giveaway or sponsored review, regardless of whether or not it coheres with our guidelines.
- We will not accept monetary bribes in order to feature certain products; however, this does not include companies who have paid for advertising on our blog. All posts related to a “paid” sponsorship will be clearly labeled; however, we reserve the right to refuse to review a product in which we have had a negative experience.
Reviews & Giveaways
- We respectfully request to be sent a sample of the product that you would like reviewed.
- Please allow between 2-4 weeks, unless otherwise negotiated, from receipt of the product for the review to be posted on our site. We will keep you updated on when this will be.
- We will not return the product to you once we are finished with the review unless requested before the review is posted.
- We reserve the right to do what we wish with the reviewed product, as it is in our possession, including, but not limited to selling, trading, or gifting.
- If you would like to host a giveaway with or without a review, we can negotiate this as well. We love to do giveaways and find them to be beneficial to all parties.
- If you are hosting a giveaway, we request that the product be sent from your company, directly to the winner, unless previously negotiated otherwise.
- WE WILL NEVER WRITE A NEGATIVE REVIEW (and we don’t lie!). If we have for any reason found your product dissatisfying, we will make sure to contact you and work out some sort of an agreement. Bad reviews look bad for both us, and you, and we do not wish to cause any issues for your company. If we cannot come to an agreement or resolution, we will gladly return the product that was submitted to us for review.
